Summary
In our Assurance Manager role, you will lead audit engagements from planning through completion while providing exceptional client service, mentoring team members, and ensuring high-quality, timely deliverables. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients, oversee engagement performance, and help drive the growth and success of both our clients and the firm.

Essential Functions
  • Adhere to firm policies regarding client confidentiality, quality standards, and professional conduct.
  • Plan, manage, and oversee complex audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, engagement profitability, and high-quality workpapers.
  • Supervise, delegate, review, and mentor staff while fostering professional growth and team development.
  • Serve as a primary client contact, building trusted relationships through proactive communication, exceptional service, and a deep understanding of client needs.
  • Analyze audit results and provide meaningful financial statement guidance, business recommendations, and solutions that support client success.
  • Collaborate across departments to identify opportunities, coordinate services, and contribute to the growth of the firm.
  • Meet chargeable hour and performance goals.

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting/finance or other relevant degree program
  • Experience in the following industries: nonprofit, construction, and manufacturing and distribution
  • CPA license required
  • Five to twelve years of public accounting experience, preferred
  • Minimum two years previous supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of basic accounting procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to multi-task with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to meet assigned deadlines in a fast-paced, team environment
